BetVictor Drops Online Poker Services

BetVictor Drops Online Poker Services

BetVictor, one of the top names in the world of online gaming, has dropped its online poker services. This move was made as of June 7.

BetVictor already offers a number of online casino activities as well as sports betting services. However, the decision to get out of the poker industry comes as a big surprise.

This move also comes right after PKR got out of the Microgaming Poker Network. BetVictor had been associated with MPN over the last five years and had been one of the top long-running providers of services.

Terms of the Closing

The closing of the BetVictor poker system is being handled immediately (poker guide). All customers with the company received the official notice of this move by email. Also, people had the option to withdraw their poker balances before June 7. Any totals which were not withdrawn would be transferred to a casino or sports betting wallet from BetVictor. Customers can still withdraw their money from this point or they can use it on those two particular services.

The KrackedKings forum listed information on the move and also posted the FAQ section that was sent out to customers surrounding the move. The report said that there would be no risk of anyone losing the balances that they earned over time. That is, people can always withdraw whatever they had even if it does go into a wallet for another of the services offered by the same company.

Non-cashable points cannot be transferred into cash either. Customers who have such points can still use these as a means of getting into other tournaments offered by BetVictor in the future. All unusued tickets can still be used until all poker operations are officially closed as unusued tickets can be exchanged for direct cash.

All payments for rake which had been earned in May would be sent to people at the start of June. All payments for rake which had been produced in the first week of June would be paid out on June 7.

Poker affiliates associated with the program can still get their commissions as long as invoices for those commissions that are owed were sent on time. An invoice for all payments that were to be collected in June must be sent by July 5 for people to be eligible to take in what they are owed.

The existing affiliate accounts will stop operate. The accounts will now work towards getting referrals to the other products being offered by the company. The rewards and benefits for getting this are still expected to continue to grow and evolve in overall value.

Past Work

The poker services that were originally offered by the site had been a skin on the Microgaming Poker Network for a period of time. There had been some rumors suggesting that the system might come about on a different network. It even came back online as many had expected but the return clearly did not last as long as people had hoped as the overall system has shut down in general.
